Also, I'd sell one of you to organ traders for a legit Chicago style pizza joint around here.
Lou Malnati’s delivers a frozen deep dish nationwide.
You’re welcome.

As a kid in the 70’s The Hut was a big deal, and the pizza was the best.
Seems like that’s always where me and my buddies ended up hanging out.
We would ride our skateboards there...How’s that for 70’s nostalgia?
Great memories

What was that pizza called that they used to have that was a crust on the bottom, then a layer of multiple cheeses, with another normal pizza on top of it? That thing was damn good.
That amazing concoction was called “The Insider,” if I remember correctly. It was delicious.
Our local ‘Hut had Galaga and Dig Dug. Picking songs from the jukebox was fun.

I reckon I was deprived. I never remember my folks (blue collar) taking us to a Pizza Hut when i was a kid in the 70's. For that matter, we didn't eat out much. Lived in a suburb where there were plenty of restaurants. Half of our suburban back yard was a garden where we grew everything from radishes to okra.

My old man would bring a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza to me at school for lunch once every couple of months - loved those personal pan pizzas for lunch in the 80s

Six pages and only one mention of Pizza Inn. Back in the 70s Pizza Inn was the shizz. I thought the chain had gone out of business but they apparently still exist in Dallas.

I miss the old days. People actually went places with friends and family. They didn’t get everything delivered. And when they went places, they didn’t sit around staring at their phones.

You probably posted this from your iphone you hypocritical boomer (redundant)

You know you can still go to Pizza Hut with your family and friends OP. It's always been there. Maybe they still go and leave your grumpy arse at home.

Pizza Hut was one of my grandfather's most favorite restaurants. After he retired and moved to our town, we went all the time. I spent several summers at his house, and he and my grandmother would take me and my brother at least once a week. I ate so many damn personal pan pizzas there in the 80's.
The best was when one of the Pizza Huts was next door to a Putt Putt Golf & Games. Eat some pizza, then walk next door for some miniature golf and arcade games.

No question.
Johnny’s is better than any other pizza place
Don’t get me wrong. I love Johnny’s more than anything. Grew up in Shreveport and spent countless hours eating countless pizzas at the Johnny’s on Preston. I still get one when I’m home.
But with the Pizza Hut thing, I’m reaching further back. Back to a time when my 10 year old mind viewed Pizza Hut as fine dining. They had the booths with the cool light fixtures (dimmed for ambience). Waiters came to your table. Pizza wasn’t obtainable on every corner and every cell phone. It was awesome.

Pizza inn was the only thing in our little town for years. Loved going there with friends after church on Sunday night as well as for their lunch buffet. This was way before Pizza Hut came to town.

Same. Red Lobster was always my pick every year on my birthday for birthday dinner.
