Nothing better as a kid in the early 90s than going swimming all day then having your parents take you to get one of these and rent a Nintendo game.

It’s a 50-50 shot they had one when you were a kid. They are on their third try in BR, with one previous one being by Toys R Us and Circuit City and a different one being somewhere else in town before the manager got killed.

Tuscaloosa had a Pizza Inn in the early and mid 80's. I only really remember going there once or twice, and have no recollection of their pizza. I remember the restaurant was dark and dingy though, and you ordered at a window and they brought it out to you.

Pizza Hut's salad dressings were delicious. The original cream Italian was the best. I loved dipping my pizza in it. Then, they changed the original to another creamy Italian. While good, it was not the same.

I haven't been in a Pizza Hut in years, but I looked at a menu from a local place and it doesn't look like they're selling salad at all. I didn't figure they'd have the salad bar due to Covid, but at least some salads.

I don’t know if BR had a Red Lobster when I was a kid

I think we’re about the same age and there was one next to Toys-R-Us in the mid 90s.

Good report card? Toys-R-Us followed by cheddar bay biscuits

Pizza Inn

There's still one in my hometown. The pizza is gross but it's a cheap buffet so it's packed all the time.

Good luck finding a sitdown Pizza Hut with a salad bar.

One of the few vivid memories I have of my grandmother (she died right before I turned six) was eating at a Pizza Hut buffet with her, my mother, and aunt circa 1984-85.
