Received the same email months ago to an old email account that I barely ever use anymore.

I respond telling him not to bother... I already posted a few to my OnlyFans with no luck.

Police said the victim didn't realize he was falling victim to extortion when he accepted a young woman's Facebook friend request. The young woman said she was from the Dominican Republic and police said the two spoke online for some time. Eventually, police said the woman recorded the man performing a sexual act over a video call. Investigators said he consented to the sexual act, but not the recording. A short time later, she edited a child into the video and threatened to send it to the man's family and friends if he refused to send hundreds of dollars. At that point, he reached out to the police. Barnett said. The man refused to pay up, so the woman sent the edited video to the man's Facebook friends. Its weird because he didn't even give any instructions on how to pay him or how much he even wanted.

There was a .txt file attached which i can only assume contains malware or badware as he called it.

This is what I’ve told. Had an old Dropbox account get caught up in a breach. Then a few years later the same information was part of “a collection breach” where someone pieces a bunch of data breaches together. Around that time I started getting inundated w random porn emails and threats to disclose videos & pics to family & friends. Ignored the emails and no one has said they have seen it
