What I find funny about it: they actually believe that all of the boomers were running around the country in VW vans and going to Woodstock and protests all the time. The vast majority had to go to work and raise their families, and just lived normal lives.

Place the blame on the people who are the issue. Yes boomers are the first of a babied generation. They were told they were unique and special. And they taught that themselves.
You remember the whole bad times need strong people who make good times that breed weak people who make bad times?
Well the recent generations all have lived in pretty good times compared with the normal times of humanity.
I truly believe people didn't have time to decide if they were a guy or a girl before because a more pressing need was determining where there next meal was coming from.
So you can blame it on lots of things and while parenting is part of the deal, the fact is times and democrats. Ever since the development of the social safety net, you have seen the worst aspects of humanity get paid to do nothing but reproduce. This really shattered the old survival of the fittest scheme and instead had reproduction by the idiots.
And here we are. Patenting is done of it but more of it is the good times that we're built.
Seriously we have a group of people who are horrified by a virus that kills less than 1 percent of those infected.
In the old times bacterial infections and viral infections not killing off a huge portion of society every year was considered a great year.
So good times breed weak people.
