My cancer med copay is $3600 for 30 days and I’m on Medicare part D. Donut hole sucks. It will only cost about $600 per month once I hit catastrophic coverage.

I’m a 10 year survivor. I am Gleason 9 very aggressive. Metastatic castrate resistant for the whole time. I’ve been through too many different treatments and clinical trials to list. But you have many effective treatment options and will live a long time my brother.

I’m a boomer and had a similar situation with my parents. We were the nearest of three children and most of the care fell on us. Tried a visiting care giver for a while. Finally the doctor told me that if we left my parents alone at home and left town then they would be placed in a facility by the state. Told dad that and gave him the choice of picking a facility or letting the state do it. Oh he wouldn’t use a walker and fell and fractured vertebrae too. I was dealing with my own cancer and couldn’t do more than I was doing with frequent trips to help.

Good for you TT for thinking of that! I’ve been there three times and may need to go again. Extended stays there can be hard on everyone. Hoping you come up with a network of Tiger helpers.

I’m old and can tell you this is a taste of what happened twice in the 70’s. It went on for a while. The Arab embargo. Gas lines, limits, higher prices. Love the old times.

Expect more pipeline disruptions as the left attempts to educate Americans on the risks of pipelines. Electric transportation will be wonderful with no risks to power supply.
