What say the MSB on Tom?

I’m glad they kept him (for now) and Meyer passed on the job. I just smelled a soap opera as Meyer butted heads with the politics and ridiculous bureaucracy at UT.

Tom may be in over his head, or maybe he just needs to keep it simple. But his teams rarely get beaten physically or blown out. They tend to rise up in big games and bowl games.

Mack Brown, with all the talent in the world, got absolutely woodshedded by OU multiple times, and teams like Arkansas would beat up on them, before finally turning a corner 6 years into it.

Beat a 4-1 Colorado team who’s biggest win was Stanford (?)

Texas is back.

Tom Herman owns the Alamo Bowl.

I hope he coaches at Texas for the next hundred years.

Sounds like you have learned to embrace mediocrity and moral victories.

Dont lump us all together like some moron Texas fans. I cant stand Herman. Period. Hes an average coach at best. Maybe 10 wins every 3 or 4 years. 8 and 5 is his mark. Get him out. Hes a lame duck next year.

Texas football will be more like the program at Cal-Berkeley than any SEC school.

I hope he stays there forever. Being glad that Meyer passed on the job is dumb. He may not be at a place for very long and some of his players may kill people, but he just wins. Enjoy mediocrity.

He’s goofy as hell. Probably a very good coach though. His personality might be a turnoff for some recruits but others will like it.

Truth is the guy is under enormous pressure in Austin. Very hard to meet unrealistic expectations. Check their boards after last night. They beat a shitty Colorado team and they will be talking NC next year.

I’m looking forward to September 4, 2021 in Austin. Hopefully COVID doesn’t limit fans.

That game likely sets the tone of the season for both teams.

Cajuns win, and there’s talk like after Iowa State wondering if they can run the table along with grumbling about Tom Herman on the boiling hot seat after losing to a Sunbelt program.

Texas wins big, and it’s either they just hammered a Top 20 team from last season, or let’s see what happens at Arkansas.

Don’t get too excited... that game won’t be close. Talent gap is way too wide my friend.

I agree. Y’all should win by 3 TDs.

Your freshman RB is going to be a star the next 2-3 years. Legit.
