Herman isn't the problem at Texas. It's the culture. Like at most blueblood football programs, too many power brokers meddling where they don't belong, expecting access where they shouldn't be and bypassing the coach to get what they want.
Alabama went through this. Auburn and Tennessee are living it now. Michigan, USC, OU to an extent, Florida before Meyer and since, and even OSU before Meyer. Notre Dame's issues over the years are similar with added academic handycaps.
Texas needs to fix Texas. You've had plenty of good head coaches that just couldn't deal with the BS of your culture.

As a coach, you’d take Meyer in a heartbeat. He’s a top 3 coach in college football along with Dabo and Saban.

Can’t say I have, the SEC rant is already annoying enough. I do see A&M fans talking about Texas boards occasionally on this site though. Just thought it was odd
