Rumblings are afoot... This could be a solid addition to LSU's coaching staff. His prior experience as defense coordinator for a Super Bowl team on two separate occasions may be the spark needed to reignite our defensive program. One cannot turn a blind eye to his stats. What say ye?

If we're going to go in that direction, I'd prefer Derek Mason.

We need someone who has been effective lately in the college ranks.....NFL is a different world and doesn't usually translate to success at the college level.

A retirement aged, recently fired head coach who hasn't been a defensive coordinator in 18 years. I say that's the kind of hiring philosophy that got us here in the first place.

If only there were a board where people could throw out random names for coaches. Chicken should make one of those. He could call it Coaching Changes or something.

Looks like 63 down votes compared to 3-5 up votes provides that answer

Lovie Smith would be the other extreme from Bo Pelini.

His outmoded Tampa cover 2 defense would be shredded in the SEC just like Bo Pelini’s outmoded “attacking” 4-3.
