If it’s only white males required to do the training, they should all band together and sue the company for workplace discrimination. Easy win.

I'm sure there are a few lawyers on here that would take that up.

I honestly don't care what you want to be called. Whatever floats your boat. But I'm not remembering individual people's pronouns so I don't care what you put in your email signature.

My company's official policy is that you have to address people as they until you find out what their pronouns are.

I am insanely jealous that you have the ability to quit your job and already have another lined up. I am living paycheck to paycheck hating my job with literally no other options to make enough money to pay my bills. My industry has literally 2 advertised open positions in my entire city.

You think it's alright for corporations to herd a group of people into a room just because of the color of their skin and browbeat them with constant reminders of how shitty they are?

I figured black people would be against a whole group of people being judged by the color of their skin.

This is rich coming from one of the biggest racists on this board.

As I said in the OP, I’m not listening to fake rhetoric saying I’m a terrible person because of my skin color. Not because it makes me uncomfortable, but because it is a flat out lie.

wait, you think if he resigned today versus quit yesterday he gets severance or changes who they hire?

No. It's the fact that he quit instead of being terminated. Now that his position is open, they can hire a woman/minority since the company seems to be pushing towards more diversity.

Your position will be replaced with a black female, which is exactly what they wanted all along.

And she wont do her job and the company will suffer.

Its like the coffee house that paid everyone $15 an hour, and went out of business a few months later.

Not sure what's so funny?
Does it not seem like the company is striving to be more diverse?

In a free market, sure.

Unfortunately we live in a market where large corporations are subsidized heavily by tax dollars in multiple ways. So she'll be highly paid by all of us.

I'm not relearning the English language so that I don't hurt someone's feelings.

You know, all this crap has made me realize that although I don't particularly like working from home full time, I'd probably be best off finishing up my career doing just that from bumfrick Montana or something. I have definitely become this guy

I did the same a couple of months ago.

It felt amazing!

I've been able to relax for the last couple of months, play some golf, and recover from the shite show that was my old employer.
