so according to their rivals guy, the players hated the publicity stunt, hated the halftime speech they got, and now vandy is apparently looking to ride with fuller as the kicker next week when they dont have to

now, multiple players are apparently going to be opting out because of it

You left off the most important part

The kickers are out of covid protocol, and yet, vandy is still going to start Sarah Fuller

Might want to add that to the title

Good maybe we can start understanding as a country that all this bullshite pandering is a complete fricking waste of everyone’s time and integrity

Yet almost all of the players opting out vote for people who push this nonsense.

I don't blame them. There are probably at least 40 players already on the team who could have done that. She kicked a football 30 yards and is taking a victory lap. Her halftime speech was condescending as hell.

The AD forced this girl kicker on Mason and then fired Mason the day after the game.

She got an award for squib kicking 20 yards

Considering how much they’ve sucked this year, it would be quite funny for them to decide how they should approach the rest of a game over a speech.

They are probably also quitting because they are 0-8. Vandy is such a joke football program. This whole episode is not worth all the meltdowns it has caused

Fixed. People need to stop using the liberal term for quitting.

yet instead of rationally understanding why the team would be upset over this pathetic publicity stunt, they will be labeled as {sexist/misogynistic/mansplaining/whatever other bullshite terms SJW and blue check mark media determine} for pointing it out

they don’t want the team to be any more of a laughing stock. this shitty chick kicker can’t help them win. she hasn’t been with the team, practiced or put in any blood, sweat, tears, and day in day out grind these dudes have done to be part of an SEC football squad

Vandy football is already a punching bag, they sure as shite don’t want to be hearing ra-ra halftime speeches from this bitch who just showed up and put on pads for a single play.

I am as big a supporter of women's sports as you will see on this site, and yet if this report is true, it makes me happy and tingly inside in anticipation of the utter clusterfrick this will become, on many levels. Good for the football guys sticking up for what is right and sniffing out a bullshite ploy when they saw it.

The women should play on women's teams; the men should play on men's teams...as God designed it and intended for it to be.

If they would just make it inside the opponents 40, let her kick, so this story can die. I know it’s a lot to ask of them though.

I thought Mason was the one pushing for her and the shite show precipitated his firing .
But now it looks like they were fully behind him playing her.

In a way, this should be very motivating for SEC teams and should actually become a trend.

Cruise towards a record setting championship season like LSU last year? The Rock narrates hype videos just for you.

Drag arse your way to 0-8? Well, we'll import someone from one of the women's teams to suit up and berate you and lecture you on how to be a winner.

I'd be pissed as well. Her first instinct at halftime was to nag the team.
