JBE’s doctor on the press conference said that. Is this true? Are you crying daily and want to quit?

Pretty much all of my family works in medicine. There was definitely some burnout, but no to the "I want to quit" level. They all care about helping more. My mom that works in an ER did take a 10 day trip to Montana/Wyoming a couple months ago to reset though.

I like my job, but If I didn’t have 100k+ in loans, I’d be enrolled in engineering school tomorrow.
Dealing with people sucks in general. Covid makes it worse

From an ER standpoint, Rona patients are pretty easy to take care of.

Good thing they have the ability to quit and find new employment.

King Edwards forced others to quit and find new employment when he shut down small businesses

Wife is a nurse.

Most of the crying and ready to quit complaints are coming from nurses that keep getting called off and can’t get enough hours to pay the bills cause nobody is going to the damn hospital.

In the ER last week. Doctor and nurse both said they issue was the covid restrictions on staff being the problem. They are normal busy but they can't staff because people have been let go or someone tests positive with no symptoms and 6 people have to go home. Front desk had 5 people sitting 3 feet away from each other, two cleaning ladies and two check in nurses.

While checking in my wife they had to shut the door of a room where a doctor and two nurses were being loud and cutting up.

There’s a lot of burnout but it’s not Covid related. It’s constantly being pushed to do more with less. It’s because of unrealistic expectations from consumers. For example: family members who get aggressive because you can’t save mama. They refuse to correlate that fact that mama weighs 350 lbs, smokes a pack of cigarettes a day, and despite having diabetes, eats a gallon of ice cream nightly.
As someone said earlier, the Covid patients are not very difficult to care for.

Addiction medicine physician. No I am not ready to quit by any means. I still enjoy doing what I do to help people. But I will share that every day I see people with multiple decades of sobriety who have had relapses due to the shutdowns and governmental overreaches that have occurred this year. It is very sad.

Went to the doctor today for routine visit. Him and the nurse both said they are sick of all the Covid bullshite and the media trying to scare people.

Both also believe that the mass hysteria is all political.
