such a joke ?
Eta: I math wrong
They're imposing draconian lockdowns and destroying their economy because you have a .001% chance of dying.
It's beyond ridiculous.

Hasn’t Italy had heavy lockdowns and masking?
Italy their lockdown in March...and ended it on June 3rd (was first European country to reopen its borders).
While they have closed some public facilities...they have not gone into a second complete lockdown at this time. They are referring to this as a "soft lockdown"...this means they have shut down gyms, swimming pools, spas, casinos, cinemas, theaters, museums and archeological sites.

Thanks. That is a cool tool.
UK, France, Italy, and Spain seem to be doing way worse than the US.

just what the frick is Italy doing?
Old family members live with family more often than not and it’s usually in tight quarters. Throw in their overweight population, culture of kissing everyone, and it’s a bad formula.

someone should update the "2 weeks behind Italy" chart

Well, I guess the theory that COVID is the result of racism is nullified

You will never convince me that India has handled this better than us

They most definitely are not. Your average dirt poor person living in the slums isn’t likely to get tested. They have one of the lowest per capita testing rates of any major country. The population is just too damn large. Brazil also falls into a similar but not as bad category.
You also have a country like Bangladesh. The most densely populated country in the world, and they’ve tested at a rate of 15K per million people.

Spoiler alert: a lot of those things are already added.

A very, very large portion - easily half, if not 3/4 or more - of the people who are dying from this in Western countries would have been dead years ago from something else in Nigeria, India, Pakistan, etc. The sophistication of our healthcare system is working against us in a way.

The Viking blood is really helping out with the Swedes

It isn’t a stretch to say there is nothing we as humans can do to really stop this thing short of a vaccine or even slow it down for any significant period of time
