Chile will have a new Constitution, closing a cycle that began with the US sponsored military coup of September 11, 1973. Dedicated to Nixon and Kissinger who certainly will hear the news ??#PlebiscitoChile

What did the polls say?

What is the significance of this?

they will soon, by comparison, make Venezuela look like a thriving economy in less then 5 years

Well, around last year there were protests that stemmed from higher public transportation prices
Then it blew up into similar protests that are akin to the dumbfrickery we have suffered since beginning of summer. Low pensions, poor public education, and subpar public health care.
I’m sure they’ll want more government to fix this shite.

They’re currently the richest per capita South American country.
They’ll take a couple years to enact the Constitution.
And then five years to craziness.

Yeah, like will we have to start calling "Chili" something else?

Chile has the only citizens in all of Latin America that don’t need a visa to visit the US.
Soon “has” will be “had”.

Looking forward to seeing more of them on OnlyFans.

Chile knows who butters their bread. All they have to do is count the yearly port calls by the US Navy.

This is unfortunate. I’ve spent a lot of time in Chile, have some good friends there. It was a fascinating country to do business in throughout the ‘90’s and last decade, but the masses could never get over the violence Pinochet exacted on his opponents. But they had a twenty or so year run where the form of capitalism they practiced was truer than ours.

I’ve been to Atacama and Punta Arenas/Puerto Natales.
I felt extremely relieved when I would cross from Bolivia over to Chile.

One of the greatest leaders in the history of the Western hemisphere.
Did what he had to do in the cold war struggle. His "economic miracle" influenced many western countries including the U.S.

It means more Chileans headed this way.

I am guessing the 78% of Chileans doing what they want for their country to erase the years of a brutal and corrupt dictatorship aren't taking enough account what American Pinochet supporters think.

Chile has had the best economy and highest standard of living over the last few years in all of S. America.
They have a very open and free market economy that has seen them prosper enormously.
They will now flush it all down the toilet and go back to a banana Republic.
Crime will rise. Violence will ensue. Inflation will go out of control and the government will begin seizing businesses. American companies will then bail and poverty will spike 200 fold over where they are now.
Then a civil conflict will arise and then a new Pinochet type will be installed as a president/dictator and reorder the country.
And all that because of a failed Marxist ideology that has never worked and will never work unless you take the soul and yearning for freedom out of humanity.
It's rinse, revolution, repeat, in Latin America. They just can't help themselves.
Chile is also one of the whitest countries on the continent and in the world outside of Eastern Europe.
By pure ethnicity, they are much more Caucasian than the US, as are Argentina, and Uragauay. The latter being a nutjob Socialist nation who sympathizes with Islamic terrorists.
Is it a coincidence that the biggest implementations of communism/socialism/Marxism have always been in mostly causacasian, or at least mono-ethnic (China) states? I think not.
I'm convinced white people are low key the most insane, self-hating population on earth. I've never seen whole nations destroy themselves over "free shite" and "rich man bad" over nothing more than brainwashing and jealousy like modern Caucasians. And I say that as an ethnic Slav.
