Of course they planned to drop this right before the debate. Now you can expect every question that isn’t about how Trump killed so many people dealing with Covid to be about this

Correct. He just based his campaign on business skills that would translate to governing skills, but it turns out he doesn’t have skills in business aside from branding and self-promotion which in office have translated to demagoguery.

The first couple of years after I retire I plan to sell a lot of stock while living off of cash, and I’ll be paying zero capital gains. Tax code allows it, why not take advantage. People that are bitching about paying too much in tax probably aren’t managing their finances correctly.

Trump’s accountants are just using the tax code the way it’s currently designed. As most people have mentioned, he probably has a ton of loss carry forwards from 08-09, and combined with depreciation has a loss on the income statement. All paper losses, has nothing to do with how the business is currently running. People complaining that this proves he has no business acumen don’t know what they’re talking about, and the NYT certainly wouldn’t have a clue.

If you can't speak/write the King's English you need not be on here.

Thank you M’Lord. I am quite adept at the English language. I am an astute grammarian (note use of the Oxford comma), and my comprehension is beyond reproach. Perhaps your misplaced criticism is a sign of your apparent generalized ignorance.

Taxes
Pussy grabbing
Muh Russians
Peachment

Those all failed, so Gates released his biological attack, and Soros his domestic terrorists. Then the drugs wouldn’t keep Ruthie alive and derailed all their media momentum, so back to the top. Wait a couple of weeks and if they don’t gin up another career criminal to take one for the team, they’ll hire another whore. So predictable

Let's depersonalize it from Trump since I think people get caught there. I'm of the belief that billionaires should pay more taxes than my secretary. Whatever complicated reasons an obviously rich dude has for not paying tax that year is just a choice we've made to advantage them. I don't like those choices.

I hope they do. Then he will be able to explain why this $750 number is fake news. It will blow up in their faces like it did for Maddow.

And I don't like it that 47% gets a free ride.

When they start paying anything I might worry what a rich guy pays.

If this were just a talking point lie like usual, I would give you a pass. But, you actually believe this. Amazing when someone hates someone so much, that they throw all reasoning skills out the window.

Buried at the bottom of the article are Trump's estimated payments of $5M and historical tax credits of nearly $10M. These estimated payments and credits offset his tax liabilities.
The $750 is a bogus.

Trump this morning:

quote:

I have long said that I may release my financial Statements, from the time I announced I was going to run for President, showing all properties, assets and debts..

LOL. In the first place, he didn't say he "may" release his financial statements, he said in would do so on numerous occasions. In the second place, anybody who believes that he will ever release his financial statements deserves to have their Trump University diploma taken away.
