You think we care about any of this? We need to SHUT DOWN now. If we don’t hide for sixty days only to do again three months later - what are we doing?

I've been a fan since the late 80s. You think I'm not aware of this? I'm still a fan, win or lose.

Baws we survived WW2, Net Neutrality, and tax cuts. We can do this if we're in it together

I replied to a poster here weeks ago after they posed the "gotcha" question of, "When do you remember flu seasons overwhelming hospitals? Exactly!" I guess trying to say it never happens.

My reply was a link to a story from 2 years/3 flu seasons ago.

How quickly people forget.

This upcoming flu season is going to be a doozy for hospitals

They’ll have to deal with typical flu patients and also Covid patients.

Would not want to be working in a hospital between 10/1/2020 and 3/1/2021

As usual, government intervention screwed everything up. Without the lockdown we would have had herd immunity by then. “Flatten the curve” ended up delaying the curve which is a hoax in itself.

Would it blow your mind that this has already coincided with flu season peak?

Addition:
February is most often the month where flu season peaks.
