Similar situation happened to me in November. Be very careful about being the rebound. She only went out with the dude for 3 months before me, but as soon as he broke up with her she hit me up. We dated until Christmas when the dude decided he wanted her back.
If the dude broke up with her, she is still thinking about him and is just using you to fill a void. If she broke up with him, maybe she’s sick of his shite and you’re in the clear.
Most rebounds fail, but you just have to decide if this girl is worth the risk. Best of luck homie.

you are playing with fire if the girl is actually attractive. She has probably gotten tons of offers already and on the off chance she was waiting for you...you are about to miss your shot. I would make a move. Taking a swing at a well placed ball and missing is better than watching other dudes swing in your place.
