I'm not going to be a Parkplace, I'm going to be a nothing. It's over. We're friends in the sense that I'll speak when I see her, be friendly, and keep asking her for her single friends, but there is no more emotional attachment.

This was me when I came back home after Commissioning wearing my uniform. A few of my "we're just friends" became otherwise real quick. One literally threw me on the bed when I came over just thinking we were going to hang out.

In all honesty, if you do indeed act like this she will probably find the confidence and attitude attractive. Some women are like that. if that happens there's some satisfaction from turning down someone who didn't see what you were worth once before

You guys keep giving OP tips on what to do to get this chick. You are wasting your time because its never going to happen for him. He blew it when he came clean with his feelings and asked her for a date.

Eh, it does sound like OP got friend zoned, but this chick did hook back up with ole dude so its plausible she really wasnt ready to get back out there.
That being said, if the right big dick baw had come along in that down period she would have been on it. Thats truth. It sounds like OPs game just wasnt strong enough to sway her. If things dont work out for her with this dude again just get some rebound cooze out of it and move on dude. If women are interested, then they are interested. Ive been on both ends of it. The only thing you can do is what you did, shoot your shot. Good on ya.
