This is exactly where Backman believes vitamin D plays a major role. Not only does vitamin D enhance our innate immune systems, it also prevents our immune systems from becoming dangerously overactive. This means that having healthy levels of vitamin D could protect patients against severe complications, including death, from COVID-19.

I feel bad for people stuck in hospitals and cannot go outside. The sunlight and fresh air is amazing when you don't feel well.

Or maybe instead of hiding scared in our houses get outside in the sunshine, the best source of vitamin D we have.

Duh.

8000 IU / day.

Spaced out with food because D3 is a fat soluable(sp) vitamin.

That’s just 4 of the tiny arse liquid capsules.

As you age, your body makes less and less Vit D and it's hard to get enough thru food. I take 2000 units a day and my level still isn't really high.

this has always been the case. Its the same reason why the flu dies off in the spring...people are outdoors more getting tha D.

I would volunteer (as a public service) to personally make sure Elizabeth Hurley gets as much Vitamin D as possible.

Pretty much getting some sun and taking a daily vitamin with vitamin c, d, and zinc in it is the cure for Covid. Some horrible disease.

And your magnesium and zinc.

I take a great multi (Alive for Men) that is mostly made from dehydrated fruits and veggies. I also supplement Vitamin D, Magnesium, Fish Oil, and Zinc on top of it.

And I briskly walk outside at least 30 minutes a day with my dog. Rain or shine.

You mean UV? Nah can't be. Trump said to put UV lights up your butt. Plus all the beaches were closed.
