Think my shoulder may be sore after today.... went with a simple shop rag and stomp method... confirmed kills 26... curious of everyone else’s success over a 12 hour period

Lil wick and I knocked out over 80 one afternoon a couple of years ago. This year we have gotten 40+ in a day.

They’re about to topple my dog kennel shed.

Spatula is my weapon of choice

That 22Plinkster YouTube dude posted something on his gram or Facebook the other day about a bumblebee gun. Kinda like the A-salt-gun for flies but it was a pistol.
EDIT TO ADD:
Nevermind. I just went and found his post. It WAS a carpenter bee but he used a Zip Gun... Which is a small, POS 22 cal pistol that he once reviewed and called it the worst gun of all time.

Bauer Suspend SC in the wood holes.
The males won’t hurt you it is the females in the holes with the yellow dots that can sting you.

Plastic baseball bat or cheat with a tennis racket!

I don’t think I hate anything more on earth than carpenter bees. My weapon of choice is a piece of aluminum c channel. I bent the sides in on 1 side to make it more of a handle. I’ve been wanting to get a tennis racket or order some talstar to spray. I just never really think about them until I’m in my boat shed with my hat off trying to kill them.

Oh wiffle ball bat great idea!!!! Sounds fun yet challenging!!

Although effective..a piece of C channel would for me personally create more repair projects due to my lack of control once in pursuit

I had a honey bee swarm get lost and ended up in my laundry room.
We taped up a sheet to trap them in there until I could figure out what to do. There was no ventilation and it was very hot so they all get very lethargic.
I probably killed 80 to 100 in an hour.

The guy at pest stop gave me the Bauer suspend treatment recommendations.
It was on an old shed at a camp.
I could see those bees with the yellow dot on their head in the holes. The normal males flying around would scare you as you hear buzzing while you soak the wood and holes.
After they die the ground below was full of bees.
Blow the bees into the grass with a blower once dead.
Keep holes open and spray suspend SC once a month to kill the eggs which can hatch in the fall.
Then once you do not see a fall hatching replace wood or cover the holes with puddy.
I replaced some wood it is amazing how precise of a hole they cut in wood.

I have a Contender pistol in .410/45LC with some skeet loads makes for a fun afternoon sitting on the porch at the camp. Not the cheapest method but damn fun.
