The insulated stay a lot cooler, but can still get warm. I keep a small battery operated fan that can also run off the USB, and bring my phone battery back up to run it.

re: Dogs Interrupting Still Hunt

We get dogs on our property in MS a good bit during the season. Like you said they are just strays not "deer dogs". Never had any negative effects on our hunting. The only issue I had was a stray came by the camp, but would follow you to the stand then just sit at the base of the tree
You would have figured he would cause more drinking at LSU
We are still in the training process. The next session will be taking the dog in public. She did pretty well with his dogs around. The E collar makes things a lot easier to manage.
Look into Spartan Protection and Canine Training. He is located in Bush but he will travel. He comes to Ponchatoula for us. He brought a four month old Malinois over to work with my dogs. One of my dogs is skittish like yours. That dog did not give two shits when my dog was aggressive towards him. It was super impressive.

Dexter Russell Beef Skinner is my go to skinner. The Buck 110 is another great choice.

I picked up a 5 gallon bucket full of Swamp Chestnut acorns from one tree at my office. That was only off the concrete I did not even bother with the ones in the grass. Bumper crop this year.

How long will boiled peanuts last if refrigerated?

I think the red oak acorns sprout in the spring. So you keep them in a damp paper towel in the fridge until then. I have grown a sawtooth from an acorn. I had a bunch of swamp chestnuts oaks planted in pots in my yard, but like the guy above the squirrels got to them.

So you are not upset about loosing, but want to pull out the bags? Were you dropped on your head as a child?

You looking for a gravity, or spin feeder?
I really enjoyed Meateater when the show first came out. The two main reasons were it was not a big commercial for hunting products, and he did his cooking section of the show. I feel now it has become a giant commercial for First lite, FHF, and the other companies that are under the Meateater umbrella. I still listen to the podcast but I am no means a Meateater fan boy. No interest in seeing a live show of them.
What is with the gays today? A topic on use of exclamation points, and now about fall scents!!!
We usually add oats to it since they no longer put it in their mixes.

I can tell you the quality on the CuddeLink sucks, and have a real hard time getting them to connect.
My question is why did the parent not know he was missing until 10:00 the following morning? Yes the police response time is not acceptable, but the parents need to be looked at for neglect as well.
I really don't think a federal charge is worth saving the $100.
It is not about shooting deer in the off season. I was told the purpose it to let the non hunting people get access to the public land without guns being present. I see your point, but that is what I was told.
