I ama supporter and the only thing he can legitimately be criticized for is how flippantly he disregarded it early on, verbally. His actions were spot on, but his communication on it a few weeks ago are going to bite him in the arse when the ads start running this summer and fall.

I keep seeing reports that DJT has terribly mishandled the whole ordeal with Coronavirus. Is this more fake news or have I missed something? The immediate travel ban, which undoubtedly saved lives, led to him be branded a racist (again). Someone clue me into what he has done wrong.

He let people talk him into believing tanking the economy over this was prudent, but I doubt anyone else would have done anything differently. A Dem would have waited too long to stop travel from China.

the CDC absolutely fricked up the whole initial testing/screening window we had

he made some tweets to downplay the incredibly fearmongering media, which will look bad in hindsight

that's about it, from a normie perspective

Yeah they have definitely turned it around since shite hit the fan. His oval office address was the turning point. Gotta keep it going and get through this.

If he treats it seriously the media will scream he is overreacting and causing a panic.

yeah in hindsight he should have been INCREDIBLY harsh and authoritarian

does ANYONE on here believe the media would have sat back and agreed with his plan/actions? frick no. at that point he'd literally be Hitler

He put a ton of misinformation out there. Especially when he contradicted health experts.

The problem with that graph is that you are using total numbers of infections to compare a country with a population of 327 million with a country that has a population of 60 million. Even if the total numbers look close the actual percentage of people being affected are way different. Any time you see a report on this on the internet or the media ask yourself when was the last time I saw a statistic on how many people have not definitely been infected?

If Trump had taken "harsh, methodical, relentless measures" very early, you and most Americans would have shite golden bricks--ESPECIALLY if the measures worked.

The media would have screamed overreaction.

Certainly not me. I've been loudly advocating for the measures S. Korea has been implementing since way back in the days that this board was insisting that coronavirus was nothing more than the flu and was being hyped all over the world to bring down Trump.

The second half of your statement is 100% true. Had he done that, he would have been murdered in the press on a daily basis for overreacting. But nobody ever said that job was easy, right? And had he taken the S. Korea route, taken a beating in the press for a few weeks because of it, but then we successfully flattened he curve while the rest of the world went to hell, how good would he look right now?

He's done nothing wrong, he's done everything right.

Most important, he told those fricking MSM assholes where to get off. He's on it.

How do you have testing kits already for a virus you didn't know was out?

That graph is kind of Bs. We reported our first case before them. It spread faster there because of how they live and the number of Chinese workers in northern Italy.
