CONFIRMED: LSU moving PMAC press section upstairs next season

Sources say it will be moved somewhere in the area of sections 327-334.
No word yet on if the student section will take over the vacated area

That absolutely needs/needed to happen. There are maybe 10 press members who show up on a regular basis. To have that much space allotted for them was absurd.

No doubt he does. He was a student back when the PMAC was also known as the Deaf Dome. I have no doubt that he sees what the Auburn basketball crowd is like and hates the fact that the LSU crowd currently pales in comparison. He knows exactly how loud and raucous the PMAC can be.

Need to move the radio guys up there and get rid of the "old" press row. Then they could have some courtside seats that they could charge good money for.

It should have never been set up that way regardless of how many fans are in attendance. You can't give up an entire section to 15ish people so they can write a story. They're there to do a job. It's not they're job to enjoy the game. That's what the fan experience is for.

The visiting teams radio is being moved to other side of the court (the side with the scorers table) next year to make room for more courtside seats.

They need to move the seats closer to the floor also. Next time you watch a game take a look at how far away the actual seats are from the floor. Most other venues have the seats much closer to the floor.
