Brooke Trout, Rainbow Trout, Catfish, Carp, Bluegill, Bass, Perch, Pike, Walleye? I have to say that Walleye is the best tasting freshwater fish.

Fried = crappie
Smoked = salmon
Raw = trout of any flavor.

Crappie (fried) Catfish (fried or blackened). Trout is cat food.

But I hardly ever fish for sacalait. And I have no walleye (that I know of)

regionally...Sac a lait and Ops...aka flathead cats.

everywhere else..salmon and steelhead.
