You pretty much nailed it. She used to sing on our church's praise and worship team as a teen. She is indeed a very genuine young lady. Very nice to everyone. She would still occasionally show up and sings at a service, though that is rare now that her career has blown up. I assume her schedule is pretty hectic nowadays.

Yeah memo to Lauren: stick to a more natural look when you dress. You’re not some black woman in a third world shite hole carrying water from a well 8 miles away. You’re a smoking hot white girl from Lafayette, Louisiana. Jeans, boots, and a button down with the first three buttons open is a much better look. And no will accuse of cultural appropriation if your button down is camo.
