What you say about his company is what you say about society

YYZ on Exit Stage Left was one of the best solos.

I am dating myself a bit...but...

I saw Rush playing their 2112 album when they were the opening act for Blue Oyster Cult.

So sorry to see this. Peart and Keith Moon were the greatest rock and roll drummers of all time.

I love Keith Moon because I like sloppy drummers. Peart was the opposite of sloppy. He was a technician.

I think his solo live on Rush in Rio was the best.

I think you mean you went to The Blue Oyster before you saw Zeppelin

I love classic rock but I never was a huge Rush fan. Their songs didnt do it for me. Good drummer though.

Ditto. Watching him play was a joy. It was like an octopus was sitting behind the kit. Danny Carey reminds me a lot of Peart, but not as good.

Peart was quite possibly the best drummer that ever lived and I only say that because I've not heard every drummer that ever lived. We lost a giant.

His funeral will consist of 20 hours of epic rocking complete with giant banks of dryers full of t-shirts and a large rotisserie cooking chickens being tended to by a man in a chicken suit.

No such thing as unanimous with music. But anyone that has Neil outside of say, the top five best ever, is not to be taken seriously.

You ought to read the story about his auditioning for Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson for Rush.

Saw RUSH and UFO at a Warehouse in NOLA in 77'(?)
What an absolute blow you away show.
Between Peart's drum set and Michael Schenker wailing on that Flying V, my ears were ringing for days...
