Watched the Eddie Murphy SNL skit and then this massive chick starts singing and jiggling around - I honestly thought it was an SNL skit and thought it was pretty funny so I asked who she was while laughing.
Then the whole Christmas related family starts trying to shame me for not knowing who she was and for laughing at her.

Shes a singer from Houston who did a trashy dance at a Lakers game and then the media was pissed that people called her out for being a trashy person because the media loves them some celebrity trashy behavior.

I just figured out who it was when I saw SNL at a friends.
Super talented and I respect the full band that plays the songs. Not exactly my cup of tea but as far as mainstream music goes it gets a lot worse.
