I agree with many of the remainder of your points but you are either the type of person that has to have every possible point in your favor to feel good about their argument, you don't know her music or you just don't know music or some combination of the three.

Funny story or a story I find funny.
Somehow in my working days I must have influenced some youngsters because their is a group that I hired back in the day that still talk blah blah blah.
They create a group to discuss music and I'm invited even though we all know I don't listen to what they would. About a year ago I guess. Maybe more.
The whole group loves Lizzo. Lizzo this and Lizzo that. So me being mr progressive pops some Lizzo onto my summer pool playlist.
It was unlistenable. I don't take their recommendations anymore.
