But as manager he was bad. Then he left the show to film a new Hangover so they had him absent and on the boat storyline stuff. And the whole thing with him and Erin was stupid too. There were very little redeeming things about him until the last several episodes; he’s great in those though. “I wish you knew when the good old days were happening so you could enjoy them” or whatever.
I don’t get people saying Ryan and Angela. You can not like them, but you’re supposed to dislike them. They are great characters though. I mean Ryan is a great know-it-all douche who is better than everybody and everything. Angela is the hyper religious chick who looks down on everybody, all while she’s cheating on her fiancé, sleeping with two men, cheating on her husband, etc. Terrible people but great characters.

The 2 newbies in season 9 sucked. Plop and Dwight jr. All the other characters had their moments, even Nellie, Robert, and Deangelo
Andy started to suck as manager but was one of the best right after the merger. Darrel starts to suck after he moves into the office and starts to try to be mr company man but was great in the warehouse. They made Kevin to dumb in the last couple seasons.
Oscar was never really funny but was a necessary character. The victim of many classic gay/Mexican jokes

I think they I tended on Andy taking over but Helms decided to move on with his movie career. Spader is an amazing actor but never really had any chemistry with the cast which is what made the early seasons so good. Honestly there were two full seasons where you could tell they had no idea what to do with the show.

That's a good one. The prank episode with Pam made them over the top terrible people.
Or maybe I am misremembering the whole episode and it was all a prank at the end .

Andy gets my vote. When I finally started going through the later seasons, I thought that character single-handedly ruined like a season and a half of the show.

I can’t believe NO ONE said Jan.
But for my money, it’s Pam. I love that show, but every time I watch it, I hate her more and more.

Meredith never did anything remotely funny start to finish in that show. And was just kind of gross. I've always hated her character
Andy post-Michael leaving is a close runner up. Last season Andy might be one of the worst written characters in sitcom history. Writers were just all over the place with him. Like they didn't know what to do with him
