Russia's Secret Intelligence Agency Hacked: 'Largest Data Breach In Its History'
by Zak Doffman
July 20, 2019
Red faces in Moscow this weekend, with the news that hackers have successfully targeted FSB—Russia's Federal Security Service. The hackers managed to steal 7.5 terabytes of data from a major contractor, exposing secret FSB projects to de-anonymize Tor browsing, scrape social media, and help the state split its internet off from the rest of the world. The data was passed to mainstream media outlets for publishing.
FSB is Russia's primary security agency with parallels with the FBI and MI5, but its remit stretches beyond domestic intelligence to include electronic surveillance overseas and significant intelligence-gathering oversight. It is the primary successor agency to the infamous KGB, reporting directly to Russia's president.
A week ago, on July 13, hackers under the name 0v1ru$ reportedly breached SyTech, a major FSB contractor working on a range of live and exploratory internet projects. With the data stolen, 0v1ru$ left a smiling Yoba Face on SyTech's homepage alongside pictures purporting to showcase the breach. 0v1ru$ then passed the data itself to the larger hacking group Digital Revolution, which shared the files with various media outlets and the headlines with Twitter—taunting FSB that the agency should maybe rename one of its breached activities "Project Collander."

CIA and NSA did this in response to all the hacking the Russians have done to them. You can bet on it.

Not as interesting as Scottish hacker Gary McKinnon exposing the Non-Terrestrial Officers list on NASA servers.

I also got access to Excel spreadsheets. One was titled "Non-Terrestrial Officers." It contained names and ranks of U.S. Air Force personnel who are not registered anywhere else. It also contained information about ship-to-ship transfers, but I've never seen the names of these ships noted anywhere else.

Someone is absolutely fricked. They now will have the weight of the entire Russian military and intelligence agencies come down on them. When, not if, they get caught, no one will ever hear of it. There will be no news articles about it. There will be no tv special that reports the details. The people that did this will be brought to a secret medical facility 14 levels underground and enjoy the most sophisticated torture known to man. There will be things done that make the puny, limp wristed water boarding the cia did look like physical therapy. These dudes will undergo more torture than can be imagined, even worse than something like licking Maxine Waters a-hole or motorboating katlyn Jenner. It’s gonna be bad. I hope they were either Chinese or Muslim.

Is it legal for me to read these or should I wait for CNN to tell me what they say?

Surely somewhere in those 7.5 terabytes we'll find the bitch's emails.
Thanks for the help Russia!
