They won, but it wasn't pretty. They made some big mistakes and paid a hefty price. Pretty embarrassing to get shown up by a conscript army.

It looks like the Iranians seized another British tanker. This one is British owned and named Mesdar. It has changed course and is headed towards an Iranian island.

Britain also captured 11,000 Argentinian prisoners and dealt some very heavy losses air-wise. They drove Argentina off the island pretty quick once they got there. So yeah they lost a couple hundred people but I would say it was still a dominant victory.
