He gave me 5 dollars once.

First Father’s Day without him. Would give anything for one more conversation with him.

I'm sure that's tough man.
My dad is my heart outside of my wife and kid.

My dad had one of the best short games i have ever seen.
Even several pro players were amazed at how good he was around the green

My Dad was the kindest, most tolerant and honest person I ever knew. He was an absolute saint (except for his naughty little pranks).

My dad grew up in Buras and transplanted into South MS. He was the coolest dad, sure he disciplined me but he taught me. He had the most outgoing personality of anyone that I've ever met (must have been the Buras in him).
Super great guy, I just wish that I had more time with him and that my daughter would have had a chance to really get to know him. He was a bright light in a dark world

I really do appreciate it. He was the hardest worker I knew. Was a doctor in Argentina, and when he came to America he had to go through medical school all over again (there wasn’t reciprocity back then) and did it.
He always told me that if he had YouTube back in his younger days he would have taken over the world.

My Dad died 32 years ago. I'm ten years older now then he ever was. I wish I knew him as an adult. He was a hell of a drummer and I get a lot of my taste in music from the stuff he used to listen to and play. It would have been cool to shoot the shite about music with him.

He never let me slide on anything I can remember. Bent over backwards to show he wasn't favoring me when I worked for him. Called me out on strikes in Little League on a borderline pitch. Let me know I was going to earn whatever I got.

One of the Greatest Generation's best. Incredible work ethic. Grew up "dirt poor" in Alabama during the Great Depression - first in his family to ever attend college.
Entered the military the day he graduated from the U. of Alabama. Flew 33 missions as B-17 pilot in WWII - most of them at a time when the life expectancy of a B-17 crew was 2-3 missions. He flew his last mission on the day Germany surrendered.
Wish he was still here. Wish my grandkids could have known him.

Worked hard his whole life to support me, my sister, and my mom. Can’t really ask more than that. Me and my sister didn’t always make it easy for him.

Mine was a Vietnam combat vet who didn't try to dodge draft like so many. The war fricked him up bad and he came back a violent sob who was very lucky he wasnt put in prison (or a mental hospital) for decades.
He was always angry and violent but he also always held a job, never missed work and made a good salary. (He was not a deadbeat like some other troubled vets). We had a nice home, new cars and never went hungry. I cannot complain about him in that regard.
However, I really hated him for some things he did. When he died I went through a range of emotions. It was tough.

He was my best friend, a wonderful father and I miss him every single day.

He taught me divorce and beating your spouse really doesnt fix the problems like you think it will.

His dad was an alcoholic that bailed out when he was an infant. His mom gave him away when he was a toddler. His grandmother, no grandfather, raised him. Despite all that he’s been married to my mom for 53 years, and provided a good life for his three kids. He had no one to set an example but he still figured it out.

Though only high school educated he was the smartest person I ever knew.
There was nothing mechanical he couldn’t fix.
He’s gone now, I think about him daily.
Appreciate your folks and spend as much time with them as you can they could be gone tomorrow.
