Do you think Mary Louise is also going to bite it by the end of season 2 after snooping too much? Will she believe her son was a sociopath abuser, or is she in denial? Does she herself posses some interminable rage in her DNA that led to her son becoming the monster he was? Will we see a darker side of her?

Yes. She knows something is up, they way she confronts Celeste about her dreams.

Reese is killing it as Madeline

Episode 2 thoughts?

I'm glad Ed found out about Madeline. He reacted a lot better than I would have.

Mary Louise and her investigating is probably the most interesting story line this season but I'm not going to lie I'd be fine if somebody pushed her down a staircase.

I thought for a second it was going full blown Days of Our Lives soap opera when Bonnie's mom started casting a spell. Glad Bonnie told her she can go on with that stuff.

Was really surprised she found out about the abuse and everything so quickly. I thought the song and dance would’ve gone on for a few episodes.

Really action packed episode but they still managed to tread the line somewhat well. Had really low expectations and I’ve been surprised so far.

I think she knew what her son was before she arrived

I kind of got the impression she didn't believe he was abusing her when she kept asking "but why didn't you go to the police?"

Could be wrong though. May have missed something.

Gaslighting. She's trying to make Nicole Kidman question what really happened because the truth is inconvenient for her.

I mean she figured out exactly what happened. Not sure how but she has it pinned. Aside from who pushed him.

That would make sense. My theory has been that Mary Louise was abused by her husband and I guess I can see the hostility towards Celeste being her projecting about how she didn’t do anything herself.

Or she’s just an insane delusional bitch idk either one works

Mary Louise slipped up about Perry’s dead brother. Either Celeste or Madeline or both is going to go poking around into the circumstances around that and find out that Mary Louise didn’t say enough and hid stuff from investigators. I have no doubt she is every bit as evil as Perry was. This will all come out when she tries to get custody of her grandkids. I am betting she ends up getting killed by Jane when she tries something with Ziggy as well.

I have no clue what to make of the Renata and Gordon thing. Seems like everyone is in shambles which is a theme they will play off of to make people vulnerable.

This show is entertaining but the entire premise is ridiculous. The man was kicking the shite out of her on the ground. He attacked all of them. She was defending her friends from possibly getting killed.

No one in their right mind would lie about that scenario. It’s really ridiculous.

That being said the scenery and soundtrack are on point.

She's an abuser herself and is responsible for creating Perry. It's clear from the way she has treated people already. Controlling, manipulative, dominating, gaslighting, belittling, isolating.

I find Madeline really annoying, but I love how she's not taking her shite lying down. Mary Louise is probably going to engineer a way to destroy her for it though.

I love the show but the need to watch it Sunday night isn’t there like with GoT.

I’m not worried about being spoiled for it so I’m not in a rush.

The acting is great. I am just trying to figure out which character ends up killing Mary Louise because it is going to happen. She is more evil than Perry I bet. Clearly going for the custody angle and Celeste can’t see it. Yet.........
