Talked to Les and Kathy last night at a party Kathy gave for LSU friends and family celebration his induction to the La sports HOF.

. They love Louisiana and consider it their home. Said he will always keep a home here. The whole family was there at the casino and I really got the impression they miss this place terribly. Kathy wouldn’t say anything either way.

Many of his former ball players were there-Glen Dorsey and a few other obvious college football players I did not recognize.
Dorsey has retired now and has a nice NFL pension. Married to a beautiful girl from California -now with a baby.

Made me wish Les had just changed a few things over the years and maybe still be the coach here.

I wish he was still here as well (assuming the offense was changed). He's a great man and loves LSU.

Probably good she played it smart bc otherwise you’d be here telling the imterwebz how much she hates Kansas and or BR.

Les riding in on a white horse to save us after things go south with Orgeron would bring this all full circle.

Yeah. Unfortunately, Les has no one to really blame but himself. Unable and unwilling to change with the game at all.

I wanted '11 for him so badly, a kind of affirmation of being one of the top coaches in the game, but it turned out to be the slow beginning of the end.

No one questions they are good people. It was just time.

History will be kind to Les Miles' tenure at LSU.

Will always love Les Miles for how he represented LSU over the years! He made two big mistakes - following Saban and staying too long. All coaches are hired to be fired and Les proved that. Very few coaches stay at one school for a long time, but Les did one hell of a job and I will have the utmost respect for him as a coach and a person. First class guy all the way! Love ya Les!

too bad he decided to give the fans and administration the big middle finger and bring out that offense in lambeau.

As it should be. He had more than his fair share of WTF moments, but overall, it was a hell of a run for him.

If I knew what we were going to hire, I would’ve never wanted a change from Les.

I will always wish Les could have been more successful towards the end. I really like him and I like his wanting to just knock the shite out of the other guy till he quit.

But I think it was time for him to go and I have thought he has handled his dismissal with as much class as he represented the University. I will pull like hell of KU.

Makes me wonder how much of this would all be different had Saban just succeeded in the NFL and never gone to Bama.
