That's the kind of thing that would drive me to SirWinston tactics and blasting cars with Trump 2020 stickers.

Beto signs were everywhere in nice Houston neighborhoods

Nah, we all get along swimmingly.

I guess I'm more used to the militant types who might spit in the coffee.

I live in DC and out of all the friends I have, there’s only one that is MAGA. Only one I’ll talk to about politics.

When I am around my brother who is far left, I feel like I am in a parallel universe. We were raised the same way yet he spews stuff that is such non-sense and you can tell he is just regurgitating all his NPR/MSM talking points. I just "Mmm, hmm" all I can and don't engage because it literally will do no good.

I'm a conservative living in a liberal bubble (Decatur, GA). I'm very selective about who I will talk politics with. Pretty much all of my neighbors and a good half of my friends and co-workers are liberal and pretty much 100% party-line democrats. There are some I can have rational, reasonable conversations with. Most - I avoid politics altogether.

Where I live probably 75% of people would agree with me. Where I work, maybe 40%. I don't talk of politics with any of them.

Do you KTTH at all?

Is that a radio station?

I work with one liberal white guy, but he's actually an alright guy and a hard worker. We talk politics all the time but always keep it friendly and reasonable.
We've never changed each other's minds or anything - in fact most conversations about politics end with a laugh and a "I guess we'll just agree to disagree here" sort of thing.
He can appreciate what Trump is doing in most areas, he just doesn't like him personally. He also doesn't like any of the Dem candidates and we had a good laugh at the Elizabeth Warren bumper sticker on some weird little dude's car in the parking lot the other day.
It may be that I am his boss or he may just be a rare one, but if all of the lefties in this country were as low key and reasonable as him we wouldn't have any problems between the two parties and could probably get a lot done.

AM 770. It's not as good to listen to ever since Todd Herman left for 97.1 FM though.

I have a few on facebook I get into with...
Unfortunately, I have had to either block or unfriend them 2.
I didn't see the benefit of keeping them in my circle if they were going to continue to insult me because they didn't like opinions..
progressives are aggressive with their views, very passionate...they pretend to listen, then they just want to plow over you...when they realize they can't win a debate, they result to insults or backhanded comments...
from strangers I could understand, but fellow "Christians"?, no, I am not dealing with it...
we are supposed to maintain unity as Christians, but unity doesn't mean we have to agree on everything...that's not what unity means

lived in shreveport.. conservative safe haven lol. was nice most of the time. now in dallas and it is kinda nice to see other perspectives some of the time. even if they are insane. some make sense and keep your grounded and stops you from watching Alex Jones and becoming a nut

I’m a staunch conservative, in fact you call me “alt right” and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings and I work in public education, so I’d say I have “diversity of opinion” in my life!lol

I’m in a bubble for sure, I read the poliboard to see opinions that I’d never get in person. You guys are right that the real dichotomy is urban/rural, not liberal/conservative.

I live in a blue state surrounded by leftists. I'd say I've got a pretty good grasp of the irrationality that exists out there.

My sister's MIL refers to Trump as her boyfriend. She is a 70-something Peruvian immigrant who loves this country. She gets belligerent with people who wave Mexican flags and talk bad about the U.S. Her sisters on the other hand are all "orange man bad." They called her a racist, she told them to frick off. She's kind of feisty for 4'11" and 80 pounds.
