Do you think they are all Celiacs? Or is it just gluten free is trendy?

I accidentally bought a gluten free muffin once. I made sure to check after that. If they had extra gluten muffins I'd get that one.

If they have Celiacs disease then yes they actually have the auto immune disease.

If you are grouping celiac along with gluten intolerance or even wheat allergy than no they don’t all have Celiac disease.

My wife has celiacs, not sure if the gastroenterologist told her that so she could get attention or not. Had bloodwork test positive for some markers then had a biopsy and all confirmed, plus got scoped. She can no longer eat much of her favorite foods and is embarrassed when we go out to eat asking waiter to be 100% no gluten touches her food and they change gloves. It’s getting to the point we seldom go out anymore. If she’s loving the attention she definitely hides it well.

I work with a woman who self diagnosed herself with a wheat allergy because she read on the internet that if you get tired after eating bread that means you have it.

All the fat asses have thyroid disorders too. Crazy how that works

If you have it, it is an autoimmune disease and it is real. You can't consume gluten without destroying your small intestine. To diagnose it you typically get a blood test followed by an endoscopy.

I agree that there are many "gluten free" people out there who don't have it.

I have a rare condition myself and I have never met anyone who has celiac disease in my life.

But, I did meet a lady at a clinic who claims her grandson was diagnosed and going gluten free helped him tremendously.

It is the roundup.

I am unfortunately Celiac; when I was diagnosed I went and got a second opinion, then a third. All of the tests positive. I can say for a fact that if you do it for attention you are a freaking idiot! You can't eat like a "normal" person, and if you buy the specialty foods it costs a small fortune, gluten free beer sucks (generally speaking), work and social functions with meals? forget it! And half the time I don"t know if I have a stomach bug or something is going on with the Celiac. What makes it worse is that the people that eat gluten free because it's trendy, make life more difficult for the people that HAVE to. I wouldn't wish this shite on anyone...

Celiac disease is a thing. And a rather nasty thing that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

"Gluten intolerance" isn't.

Very few people actually have celiac’s.

People are just dumb and want attention

It’s the corporations man! They’ve paid off the government to position our food and make profit off of it man! That’s why we need to outlaw corporations and only allow government to control it man!

They dont.

Its an Autoimmune Disease is also now Trendy to say you have it.

If HALF of the people who say they cant eat Gluten really had Celiac dz, the GI docs office would have a line outside of it 24/7
