It's an attitude that I've adopted at my age. Keeps me from being offended all the time. The statues, the flag never bothered me, and If I could be completely honest, race pimps use it to get votes. It bothers me that so much money was wasted taking down statues in New Orleans. On the list of things I'm worried about when I visit Nola, the statues weren't one of them.

Point blank, it's the poor whites way of separating themselves from poor blacks. They might think it's for another reason or say it is about another reason, but when you pull back all the layers, that's what it comes down to.
