I know about sporting waves few of my battles used it. We were a Murray's family, and I never had waves or wore a durag.

Didn't say it was.

As a white dude, I was just confused as why was that something only black people would know.

You sound very intelligent and not easily bated into racial/controversial issues. That's a sign of maturity.

It's an attitude that I've adopted at my age. Keeps me from being offended all the time. The statues, the flag never bothered me, and If I could be completely honest, race pimps use it to get votes. It bothers me that so much money was wasted taking down statues in New Orleans. On the list of things I'm worried about when I visit Nola, the statues weren't one of them.

Only weak minded people get upset over it. We have too many people who worry way too much about things that should not affect them. It’s basically excuse making and “being a victim mentality”. Nothing more/nothing less.

Do you find most white people are racist?

It looks like you live in Prairieville so you are around a lot of them if accurate.

I think it's mostly sensationalized in the media.

I'm surprised by some of the answers. It certainly has been cordial and thought provoking

Something I quickly noticed when I got here. There's pride about being a Southerner. I love it. I don't think Northern pride exists.

I think it's a bit of tribalism that has been built due to the condescension from the urban North and coasts. Also, a pride in what the South(all races) has given the world culturally.

Best purple drank?

Bonus: I have black neighbors that never turn on their air conditioning. Any idea why?

I'm black and my opinion about the flag is...that I don't care. It's never bothered me, Ive shared drinks with people with rebel flags hung in their garage and they were ok in my book.

You might want to read the question again. The true number of grams in an ounce doesn't vary by location.

As many fights as I witnessed at Wawa it may as well be. But it reminds me more of Bucee's if I had to compare it.

Why do upper class whites not wave the rebel flag bot low income white do?
fwiw I don’t really care about the Rebel flag by itself, I’m pretty meh about it. I only see trashy whites and “yee yee” folks waving it around.
However, being from Mississippi, I do like it being on the state flag and think it fits well with the rwb stripes so I don’t want it removed.
