A cardboard cut out of Les Miles couldn't do a worse job than the man sitting in the seat at this moment.

I'd be as happy as I was when Skip was AD.
Would love to have Les. And yes, I think he would jump all over it.

I don't think people understand how much of a leg this truly gets Les. Just not being Alleva is already a tremendous improvement.

yea, that's exactly the right way to protect your program from the invitable NCAA hammer.

I want Les as AD to happen, but I often wonder that myself. Best answer I come to is he is a sports guy vs a bureaucrat. With this whole Wade thing, I think Alleva responded like any bureaucrat administrator would have....Les would have taken a second to put himself in the coaches shoes and supported him from that angle...which would have been nice.

Also, all the changes to gameday/tailgating experience have been very corporate and bureaucratic.... I feel like a guy like less would say frick this stiff corporate bullshite like paid spots and sponsored tailgate parties..let the beautiful chaos reign.

f you think people are pissed about Alleva, GoodOleLess would make the ultimate punching bag. Hell, I would likely bitch every morning when i wake up & realize that he is back , kick the dog , raise hell w/the wife and give all the employees hell as soon as i get to work . It took forever to run his sorry arse off, and these idiots want him back . Just wait until Kansas goes 0-13 and then 0-13 .His services will be available in a couple of years, and that should send his simple soul back to the broadcasting booth , where he excelled.

Really nice guy... but not always the most willing to make tough coach hires and fires when the objective circumstances require same for the betterment of the team. So probably not a great fit for the job

The same things that qualified Skip Bertman ???????... If an ex baseball coach can be AD then why not Les????

I seriously wonder about Les' health, that's the big point that I'd have against him being AD.

Alleva needed to be gone years ago...and f.king needed to go with him...

I love Les, but one of his major downfalls was personnel management. That’s probably the biggest part of being AD. Therefore, I would not support. AD emeritus, head of LSU fundraising yes, head of TAF yes, but not acting AD making coaching hires and dealing with contracts for all sorts of stuff.

I would love to have Les back as I know he loves this university, but I don’t believe he would be good at the job and I would hate to see a messy separation for the second time.

The ranters in the fan base would never accept Les as an AD. Never ever ever.

He'd quit, yes. NO WAY do I want Miles as an AD. He wouldn't let an OC do his job. Does anyone think he'd let the head coach do his job without massive tampering?

LSU screwed up BIG TIME when they let Dan Radakovich get away from them, where he was the assistant AD from 2001-2006.

He is currently the AD for Clemson and on the playoff selection committee
