Bleach baths - anyone do these from time to time?

10 years ago I had issues with recurring staph infections. One of the things the doctors recommended was laying in a bathtub of hot water with about 1/4 cup of bleach mixed in. For good measure I usually add a little more than 1/4.

I haven't had any issues in a few years but I still do these bleach baths every once in a while just for good measure. I did one last night and now I smell like a swimming pool. I kinda like it in a strange way.

Does anyone else do this sometimes?

Solid strategy.

Please quit starting so many stupid threads. The o-t will be more enjoyable without them. You seem desperate for attention and it's not a good look.

Anytime I get an ingrown hair, I wipe it with a Clorox wipe.

Granny always put bleach in our bath water to get rid of red bugs. That's about all I got.

Don't underwear multiple days in a row, wipe your arse properly, and if you are working outside and get sweaty underwear take a shower as soon as you are done and put on new underwear.

No need for a bleach bath.

This sounds like a bad time for the pee hole.

Not me, but my son when he was 2ish, started getting reactions from diapers. would get abscesses all over his butt, no matter what diapers I used or how often I changed his diaper. The first time it happened, I made a mistake of using butt paste because I thought it was diaper rash, BIG mistake. It turned into staph like boils all over his poor butt.

That is actually what his doctor told us to do. poor a cap full of bleach in his bath water. Needless to say, we started potty training early and never had the problem again.

If you notice a staph infection starting to form rub a little neosporin in your nostrils at night.
