Greatest Animated Movie of All-Time! CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH! **voting closes 1/9 @ 10:53p.m.**

Well it all boils down to this. Clemson vs Alabama. Beauty and the Beast vs Lion King.
In the final four Beauty and the Beast man handled The Incredibles. A bit of a surprise as The Incredibles had been a freight train up until that point. Lion King vs Toy Story was a back and forth battle with Lion King edging it out with a 53-48 victory.
Again, if you havent seen one of the movies, dont vote. Dont vote just to vote. You need to have watched both movies to make a fair pick. Please no vote count spoilers.
Just a reminder to some of you idiots. I DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SEEDING. THERE WAS NO PERSONAL PREFERENCE. If I would have made up the brackets they would have been completely different. I did it the absolutely best way possible having to use a nomination style format. So dont bring it up. Nobody cares that you think this sucks because your two favorite movies didnt make it.
That being said, vote away. Debate. Get drunk. Pass out. Hold on to your butts...

I mean, the only problem with this assessment is that it is a fact that The Iron Giant is the greatest animated film of all time with Spirited Away a close second. I'm not saying they are my favorites, just that objectively speaking they are #1 and #2.

I'll vote for the adaptation not the ripoff. The Lion King is massively overrated anyways.

And if that was the final matchup I would be completely cool with that. I love both of those movies but they arent my top two. But if they would have made it, it wouldnt be because the format/seeding sucked, it would have been bc they got the most votes.

I like the Lion King, but it is overrated. Beauty and the Beast is just on another level. It’s a perfect movie. It also turned the Disney formula completely on its head. Save for Pan’s Labyrinth, I think it’s the best Fairy Tale ever put to film.
The Lion King just isn’t a perfect movie. There’s some bit of pacing issues, I don’t think the songs are as good, Simba is a boring main character and the film is overly carried by the villain (who is spectacular don’t get me wrong). It’s a great movie, but it’s not a perfect one. It’s why the live action remake wasn’t as good: you can’t beat perfection. I did like how they added that Gaston’s Happy Place was widows (which was improvised), but that’s the only change I liked.

The Iron Giant is great, but I don’t see the argument that it’s the greatest ever. It does have the most loathesome douchebag villain outside of Joffrey though, I’ll grant you.
