He'll only play as long as he is able to be effective. The league will decide when that is if he doesn't want to. Ask Montana.

Bill gonna can his arse at first indication of being worse than his replacement. I think Bill wants to win one or two to prove he can do it without Brady.

Based on the way he has looked towards the end of this season; I have a feeling we will start to see a major drop in his play next season.

Doesn't mean anything for Drew IMO. For someone who has accomplished so much I have never seen a set of fans of that player that are so insecure. All that crap about the "GOAT" is bullshite. You can't separate players when they reach that level of success. There are so many variables and reasons why they got that far that you can't really compare. I think when they get to that point you just saying they are all great. Who is to say who is better. Some will say well Brady has 5 super bowls and Drew only has 1. But they are only one player. Who had the better supporting cast? Receivers, Line, Defense? Who played in a stronger division? pick one. Who is to say that Montana wasn't better than either of them? Then you have the factor of what era a player played in and how rules changes effected his wins or stats. Point is no one really knows who the best is.

Dude is holding that entire franchise hostage at this point. Quite sure that DB9 will handle his departure more gracefully.

this ^^^^^^^

how soon brady forgets just how fast bill threw drew bledsoe out the door even though he took them right up to the superbowl before getting hurt and replaced by brady, and bledsoe was still playing great, but bill had a much cheaper option cutting bledsoe lose and sticking with brady

I do Think he’s chasing records

He wants to be seen as the best and he’ll hang around the machine as long as he can.

Chad Morton was the only one of that draft class that made any real impact for the franchise. And then only for his rookie year.

That’s ok. I’m happy with how things turned out. Brady wasn’t the only factor in those Pats SBs. Truth is, it’s just a well-run organization.

Where did Terrelle Pryor find a time machine and morph into a 6’ 250 lbs fullback? Terrelle Smith was an absolute beast of a run blocker though.

I think Bill wanted to keep Garopolo and would have traded Brady.

Kraft intervened.

You don’t remember Darren Howard? He had 2 double digit sack seasons for the Saints and probably finished his career with 70 or so sacks.

This. While still effective this season, the decline for Brady has already begun. Belichick had better start making plans for the immediate future of the Patriots because when Brady's play really falls off the cliff, it won't be pretty at all. By then it will be too late.
