What I don’t understand is that I thought we were trying to get him last year, and he was deemed untouchable. Now when Tennessee and Alabama are interested...is he now touchable.

Sankey prevented Saban from getting Freeze last year.

Sankey did not want him aiding another program while Ole Miss was still under sanctions. Those have ended, he’s now free game

WTF are you talking about? Sankey is blocking Tenn, Auburn, and Bama from hiring him this year also

A team would have had to pay a fine if he was hired before Nov 30th. Also Sankey didnt think it was right to have him coach a team while his former team was on year 1 of probation. He can get hired now.

The latest on Freeze is the HC gig at Liberty University or OC at FSU, not SEC schools.

If Bama gets Freeze I hope we try to lure Enos away from Bama. I liked him as a candidate when he left Arkansas and he's done great with Tua and Hurts since he got picked up by Bama.

where did you hear this? From what I understand Orgeron isn't exactly a fan of Freeze. I don't think Freeze coming to LSU with Orgeron as the HC is really going to ever be an option.

My, how the worm turns. Last year Freeze was toxic waste but now he has his choice of plum OC jobs. Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, FSU... a probably a few more we haven't heard about. He was supposed to have signed with the Vols by now but obviously is waiting to see what Locksley does.
