Will Cam Newton be the greatest black NFL QB of all time?

The stats speak for themselves. Plus throw in an MVP year and 3 pro bowls out of 7 full seasons.

And before someone starts talking that Michael Vick was better before he went to prison BS, just compare Mike's first 6 years vs Cam's.

Mike Vick would have been amazing in today's league. Imagine you can't touch him and then like magic he would outrun you.

I would still have Warren Moon and possibly Randall Cunningham ahead of Newton but in five years of the same production Newton probably moves to #1.

I was coming to say McNabb. But looking up stats, it's Moon. But I think Cam will be by the time its all said and done.

If I tried throwing Aaron Brooks' name in there it'd just get intercepted...

Don’t worry, no one was gonna go there

The fact that you posted Vick and not Moon

Seriously. It's not close. Warren Moon's production is insane considering he was 27 when they finally let him play in the league. He would've likely been the owner of all those Marino records if he'd come right into the league.

Mahomes is the heir to the throne. Not Cam.

Apologies. I've had this conversation in real life unfortunately.

Cam is the John Elway of this generation. Even though his statistics are relatively mediocre, the guy has an ability to carry a team on his back like few quarterbacks can. And I think Mike Shula was his Dan Reeves. He needs a Shannahan-type offensive mind to harness his skills and truly take his game to the next level.
