The 2nd half TD for Georgia in 27-28 '98 loss.

The 1st drive penalty that took a TD off board (Herb Tyler to LaFleur I think). We end up getting shut out against Bama at home. '96?

1993 Auburn - entire 4th quarter
1993 Arkansas- tPOS Hog player returning a fumble for a TD and taunting Kevin Mawae
1997 Bama - David LaFleur TD getting called back followed by Shaun Alexander running all over us
1998 Auburn - fake field goal. Frick Tubberville.
2004 Auburn - 4th and 15 Jason Campbell prayer; Ronnie Prude’s phantom penalty
2004 Iowa Hail Mary
2007 Arkansas- 4th and fricking 10. Casey Dick.

Vadal Alexander personal foul in a guaranteed win vs Bama 2014.

Let’s take each team separately, because the combatants in such a grueling test of wills each deserve their say. We’ll begin with Alabama, which needed a win to stay in control of its SEC and national title destiny and which was, for all intents and purposes, dead the moment LSU linebacker Lamar Louis forced the ball out of Yeldon’s hands with just over a minute left in fourth quarter. The Tide were done. Out. All but buried. LSU had a first-and-goal from the Alabama six-yard line with 73 seconds remaining. At the very least, the Tigers would milk a little clock -- Alabama had all its timeouts -- and kick a field goal. More than likely, given the momentum swing created by the fumble, LSU’s massive line would open a hole for Terrence Magee or Leonard Fournette, who would rumble into the end zone. Even if they didn’t that field goal would probably be enough, given that Alabama's offense had averaged a paltry 3.6 yards a play to that point and had a whopping one first down in the second half. How would the Tide move the ball down the field against a defense that had solved them? Even if they did, kicker Adam Griffith had missed five of his previous nine field goal attempts. Every sign pointed to an LSU victory that could help plunge the SEC West into the kind of chaos that could knock every team in the league out of the College Football Playoff hunt.

Eta: his only PF penalty of his entire career.

Eta2: frick this thread

I called my dad crying after we lost to Arkansas in 2002. It was like life wasn’t fair and it wasn’t supposed to happen like that.
I was 15 and my life was LSU football.

Now I just get pissed.

The Yeldon screen is obviously the winner.

But what about the 2004 bullshite “leverage” penalty against Auburn?

A few years ago when Les went for a long field goal right before the half against Alabama. It was missed and Alabama got the ball on their 40 something and drove down the field for a touchdown in the last minute of the first half. In case Les is reading this, the smart play would have been to pin Alabama deep in their own territory and Saban would have run the clock out.

Interesting one there. That one cost Les Miles his job, at least he would have survived one more game.

One more Game? He likely survives the season. If he wins that game we probably end up losing only 1 more game, to the Gumps. We win the Florida game with Miles as coach, IMO.

Sadly as I look and am reminded of ALL of these I think that there shouldn’t be this DAMN many!

The Nicktator’s last game and last play - Iowa Hail Mary at Capital One bowl.
Sadly, I was there in that section and saw the play unfolding before my eyes!
