With 505 cavalli at the ready, the Giulia’s horsepower advantage over the BMW M3, the Cadillac ATS-V, and the Mercedes-AMG C63 doesn’t go to waste, with 60 mph coming up in just 3.6 seconds. The quarter-mile flashes by in a blistering 11.9 seconds—both figures are class-leading

Reliability = TBD

I own infiniti and BMW currently, had a Mercedes... actually like the infiniti better than the others. Audi is an upscale VW...

Buy a Lexus if you want reliability above all else and are ok with old powertrains, heavy parts, compromised dynamics used to achieve it and imo mediocre exterior design. Good car to buy used. Gs over the es

Can’t get over the cheap interiors and artificially heavy steering of bmw, although it’s supposedly better in the redesigned 5 series.

Audi’s are nice. Great interior quality, infotainment, classic exteriors, good powertrains, good reliability now. Cheaper than comparable bmw and Mercedes by a few grand. They aren’t flashy though and don’t have the best resale

Mercedes C series are nice, I’m looking st the c43 for my next car. I feel like the e class is overpriced for what you get though.

Acura doesn’t differentiate itself enough from Honda to me. The accord is so good though, it’s sister can’t be a bad choice.

None of the Germans do unless you are buying something limited. My wife has a 17 x5. 72k sticker, paid 67 now worth like 45 wholesale with 13k mi.

My wife (no pics) has a 328i , I love that car. Superb A to B transportation with enough sportiness to keep it entertaining. 35ish mpg on the highway and enough power to effortlessly scoot up to triple digits when appropriate. For a daily driver you could do a lot worse.

Depends on your budget and if you think looks or technology makes a car cool. If money is no object the s63 is amazing this year. If looks is your thing then Lexus or BMW.

Really looked hard at the audi s4, nice car and pretty basic sleek look to it.

"best" would be the Lexus

But u can get the same "best" vehicle for $30K less if you buy under the Toyota brand. Same exact car minus the emblem.

A few years back the Lexus ES 300 and the Toyota Camry shared the same chassis… they were very similar in design. That is hardly the case today. There are no models in fact that are similar (other than Landcruiser) and saying that a Lexus is just a Toyota with the different emblem is false. I have owned Toyota’s in the past and now drive a Lexus GS 350. Night and day difference all the way around.

He was right.

My friend just bought a quatraporte for his wife.

Beautiful car, engine sounds like Motown, but I had to figure out all of the controls for them

There's a baw in downtown BR with a strAight piped v12 Aston Martin.

I giggle like a child when I see him.

BMW used to be one of the best Driving vehicles until they changed their steering mechanism. You can no longer really feel the road as the steering is too loose and effortless. Most driving enthusiast like to be able to feel the road and not some super hyped up power steering mechanism ...

The E60 was the last 5 series with hydraulic power steering, last with naturally aspirated engine offerings, and last with a manual transmission. Too bad she's the ugliest girl at the 5 series ball. She'd be a butter face if it weren't for her weird butt.

It's not BMWs fault everything has gone to electric steering...you can't have driver overrides (collision avoidance) without it.

I've owned 5 of those 6...so, not qualified to comment on Lexus.

But, in order:

1. Audi - most fun car in this class to drive right now...S6 (and wife driving SQ5)...both are a blast;
2. BMW - had 550...fast, comfortable, but boring...was great in a straight line;
3. MB - had E500...very well built, but, more boring than BMW...like a tank though;
4. Infiniti - was quick and kind of fun, but, didn't feel as well built nor as solid as Germans;
5. Acura - just as soon buy a Honda.

Hope this helps.

I will give that the ES350 is comparable to the Avalon now and the LX is like a Land Cruiser. Other than that, the models don't really compare. There is no LS/IS/GS/GX/RX equivalent at Toyota. And as far as paying 30k more . Similarly equipped Avalon is maybe 3k less than an ES. And the Land Cruiser is not a cheaper/non-luxury option starting in the 80's.
