If I didn't give a shite about cost or repairs, I'd take the M5 all day.
If I ever purchase one of them it will probably be a Lexus.

If I were to rank them this would be my list.
1. Lexus
2. Audi
3. Mercedes
4. Acura
10. BMW..
Seriously, I think BMWs are the worst. I don't know if they still do, but at one time I know Ford use to use BMW parts in their vehicles.. Not that that means anything, but I would rather not spend as much money on a Toyota (camry, 4runner) than on a BMW.

Acura. When it comes to repairs, you are repairing a Honda.
Mercedes are awesome but not the C-Class. Why bother with it at an Acura price point. Getting an S550 AMG? Then screw it. Who cares what it costs.

Have a 5 series, but I'd probably buy an Audi now that everything is turboed with automatics.

A lot of hype from the Buick Enclave lately here.
I'd go with Infiniti or Lexus if you plan on keeping it past warranty.
