Monica Rethinks Consent with Bubba #metoo

quote:

Lewinsky says she now sees that her relationship with Clinton was full of "inappropriate abuse of authority, station, and privilege." "Now, at 44, I’m beginning (just beginning) to consider the implications of the power differentials that were so vast between a president and a White House intern," she wrote. "I’m beginning to entertain the notion that in such a circumstance the idea of consent might well be rendered moot." More: The #MeToo movement didn't begin with Harvey Weinstein. And it won't end there Lewinsky says the fallout from her relationship with Clinton left her with post-traumatic stress disorder and that in light of her trauma, she might never have changed her thinking on the subject were it not for the #MeToo movement and society's sudden reckoning with issues of sexual misconduct.

She's so full of shite. I can't stand girls who loved it going down but complain about the aftertaste.

And here's where this website believes rape allegations at face value since it's Clinton.

I might be completely wrong, I really don't know.. But I would find it hard to believe that there was not a part of her who was thinking "I have the opportunity to frick the president of the United States". He hits on me and I am sure if I show a little interest, I could frick him".

Wait, so even though she was an adult and a willing participant, the fact he had a powerful job makes it not consensual?

Where the frick has personal accountability gone? Did he force her to do anything? Did he threaten her if she didn't engage in sexual acts with him?

I don't get it.

But at the same time she was young and made stupid decisions that is going to affect her for the rest of her life. She will always be known as the girl who had Bill Clinton's jizz on her dress.

It would be a difficult decision to have kids, if she wanted to.. I mean she is 44 now, but I am sure that during her childbearing years it played a factor.

If there was a woman president and some male intern fricked her.. He wouldn't have gone through the shite this woman has gone through.. I am not saying I feel bad for her, I am just stating facts.

This is on wikipedia.

quote:

By her own account, Lewinsky had survived the intense media attention during the scandal period by knitting.[30] In September 1999, she took this interest further by beginning to sell a line of handbags bearing her name,[35] under the company name The Real Monica, Inc.[30] They were sold online as well as at Henri Bendel in New York, Fred Segal in California, and The Cross in London.[30][35][36] Lewinsky designed the bags—described by New York magazine as "hippie-ish, reversible totes"—and traveled frequently to supervise their manufacture in Louisiana.[30]

What has gone so wrong with our society, to where a hashtag is considered a movement? People can just hop online, type someone's name and put #MeToo next to it and the person they're referencing is considered guilty in the eyes of many.
