I know you probably don't read this board, but if anyone with the Saints organization does, please let MW#43 know that we love him, and we're excited to have him as a Saint for years to come. He was part of a damn strong defensive backfield this season, and I can't wait to see what he does with a year under his belt!!!!

Me too man, this kid has a chance to be All Pro. He is a phenomenal ball hawk, just made a bad play in the worst possible moment. The future is bright for Marcus

Cool to see the vast majority of the fan base supporting this guy after the initial shock wore off a bit. He’s gonna be a stud.

Incredible ball hawk for sure.

Also an incredible ghost whisperer. He will never overcome that mistake while in a saints uniform.

Look up the definition of insanity and a lot of you fill that definition pwrfectly.

They had the usual assholes yesterday basically saying he should off himself and/or be cut from the team. Hopefully alcohol and heartache had alot to do with that garbage.

Might want to go with #42 and legally change his name to Ronnie Lott II.

That was the only play that got by him all year which is crazy.
Dude is so athletic and covers so much ground.
He is going to be special he has that fire a great head on his shoulders and I think he makes the pro bowl by year 4

Glad hes with us. People complaining about him are assholes and should be blasting Payton for that disastrous 1st half.

Sweet. He's going to be a strong safety for us.

However, Brees has very few solid seasons left. Getting through the playoffs is difficult - especially in our division.

We were gifted two backup QBs. He made a Pop Warner mistake that put us out of the Super Bowl.

What do we get in return? A good safety for some years to come.

Sweet....I'd rather have the Super Bowl opportunity instead of a good safety.

I think it is. He's also getting a ton of support around the league. I know he will respond to this adversity and ball out next year.

He's a professional. His contract, I believe, is somewhere around $6M. That is a basic, Pop Warner play. He's the safety. The last line of the defense. You don't let your guy get by you.

You. do. not. put. your. head. down. and. close. your. eyes. That is basic fundamentals and taught to the young just starting to play tackle football.

I'm not solely blaming the loss on him, but come the frick on. It's not like Diggs made some Odell Beckham or David Tyree like catch on him. Basic fundamentals.
