You are spot on in every aspect
I can't believe people like Luke's arc. It's a slap in the fricking face

I realize Star Wars has always been sketchy on physics, but this movie was laughably bad. Why were the ships that ran out of fuel somehow dropping. They were not orbiting a planet, obviously it would've kept going in the same direction.
Yeah, I hadn’t thought about this point... but to be traveling at a constant speed through space, they don’t need additional fuel.... this movie didn’t think shite through, did it?

Why was the resistance using bombers? Why didn't they just set a few ships to auto pilot, aim them at the first order ships, and have them lightspeed cannon right at them?
Why was the First Order all that concerned with covering the people who flew their TIE Fighters? Vader sent them out into an asteroid field under orders of a painful death if they refused. They still died by the thousands. You don’t think Kylo would have done the same, especially since it most certainly would have led to less casualties?

All of the ships were under acceleration. None were traveling at a constant speed.

And I hate the term SJW and I refused to believe there's some big conspiracy behind it all
But god damn if I'm not a believer now. Women in a film is fine. I'm down but there was an obvious agenda there

Dear God.
I'm having a lot of trouble processing how many people I'm seeing here that don't understand Luke in this movie.
He had disconnected from the Force.
That's why he didn't know about Han's death and why he didn't know about Kylo and other stuff.
He reconnected and latched with Leia for a goodbye and being so powerful, he bilocated and saved the day before choosing to become one with the force.

True people aren't getting the whole disconnect, but even if you do understand it you are still left with a shitty story.

Or the nonforce equivalent.
This requires them to accelerate constantly at the same rate... which what are the chance of that working out? Zero? Neither were accelerating at different rates. They were coasting. You didn’t hear either side saying that every time they accelerated that the other side accelerated as well. It’s not how it fricking works.

Being disconnected from the Force is fine. That's cool
But the rest of him is garbage man. It's ok to accept it. Go look at the non spoiler thread man. I was defending this shite without even having seen it. But even I can't. He doesn't even do anything. He talks to Yoda and kills a god damn fish.

Saw it tonight with my 5 year old and 10 year old. Meh at best. No enthusiasm from the kids like there was with TFA. My biggest problem was the humor. It wasn't that funny, and it was nod/wink stuff that kind of breaks the fourth wall. It reminds you that it's just a movie and keeps you from being fully immersed in the universe of the film. Marvel humor bull crap. Luke wouldn't make fun of a light saber or the force; Poe wouldn't say "yo momma" to the General that destroyed whole planets.
As most others have said, the Leia space fly was the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
Luke's death could have been badass but they pulled the rug out (What did being a hologram accomplish? What did it teach Rey?).
I could feel politics creeping in, which always ruins things.
Couldn't we get a little bit of training?
Why would Yoda destroy the Jedi books? Rey didn't know everything in them. The Jedi had to undergo years of training.
The dialogue was underwhelming. I can't think of a memorable line. Even Return of the Sith had some.
I just feel depressed about it. Wasn't that fun. frick

Again, my only real issue with Luke were the explanations given for his failure to guide Ben/Kylo, his isolation, and for his surrender into apathy. In a vacuum, I'm fine with it, but we learned so much about Luke in the original trilogy that suggests he wouldn't act this way. I just needed more, to feel satisfied with his transition.
It's not a plot hole, or anything of the sort, it's just poorly executed.

Rey took the books.
Finn opened a drawer on the Falcon in the last minutes of the movie and they were there.
Pay attention.

It's not awful, it's certainly competent.
Half this series has fun overall rewatchabilty, even the prequels have a fun moment.
I can't imagine casually enjoying watching The Last Jedi again.

I did notice that but wasn't sure. I guess that's a little better. I'm still depressed about it overall.

Finn served no purpose but did Han Solo? He was a love interest but did he really add any value to the originals? I get that he was a white good guy but really other than being a wise arse what did he do?

Agreed.
I probably won't even own it on Blu Ray. I'll just YouTube the ONE fight scene and leave it at that

I found it telling that no one in my theater clapped, cheered, cried, or laughed at all during the movie. I also found the fight scene with the red guards strange. Here are two Jedi that can force push and pull and choke but nah they prefer to do battle the hard way. I didn’t understand the amount of forced humor scenes. Rouge one was better.

I can’t describe how bad this series has become. They ruined everything that was great about Starwars the Skywalkers, Jedi, Light Sabers, Interesting Characters etc..
