Pretty sure they went out of the way to show his dead body later in the film so the audience would know he wasn't a projection. After all, even the dice eventually disappeared.

I said it after Force Awakens and it’s still true, if they want to save Star Wars they have to remove Abrams completely get away from this leftist liberal commentary and PC cookie cutter movie formula and find a real movie maker who knows how to tell a real story. Disney is a joke but their number 1 purpose is the dollar bill so I’m holding out hope their greed is greater than their need to force their politics and beliefs on us. Last Jedi was better than Force Awakens but still maybe a 5/6 out of 10 and that’s only because of sorce material and love for Star Wars.

I think that without the Leia witch glide, the casino planet and pretty much everything else with Finn, it was perfect.

Empire is a perfect movie
If I had to find a fault with it, it’s a 2 second long b roll of 2 rebels talking that they added in post production. That’s why it has the matte painting of the hangar even though they built that awesome set

That would have been an amazing movie. If I had seen spoilers that looked like that, id have been giddy over the prospect of seeing the movie.
What we really got was a sermon on social justice from the left. They took something almost universally loved by white guys, and desacrated it. Its almost like we are being punished for liking the original trilogy so much(because it had things guys love).

So half the movie. Plus we didn’t see Dark Side Training as promised by the cliffhanger. Save for the directing, I’m sure multiple posters here could have made a better sequel.

Listen man. I was ready. I was willing to jump on the wagon with y'all and defend it.
And I'm not going to sit here and bash it like Fox and Lacour, but it wasn't good man. I didn't even hate Finn like I thought I would. It was boring but it wasn't bad. And Hell, I like that they killed Snoke. But halfway through the second act? I don't even need an origin story but he wasn't a Sith or anything.
I wouldn't have even minded that Ren killed him. But he killed him like a pussy. He didn't even man up and unleash some hidden Force powers to do it. I mean god damn. Luke didn't do anything. Didn't wield a lightsaber, didn't fight. He didn't even teach Rey anything about the Force.

This movie is what I feared a Star Wars movie would look like with no Lucas involvement when TFA was announced.

Look what they’ve done to the characters. That wasn’t Luke Skywalker that was some other character inhabiting his body, you could tell Hamil didn’t even believe what he was saying. Sure people change but that’s not Luke or Leia. And why do you need to plant seeds of a rebellion when the wars been going on for 40 years? These movies are nothing but leftist social commentary they’re not true to the story and are so hollow it’s unreal. Your stats prove my point there’s nobody with half a brain that thinks Force Awakens was a good movie those are paid reviews it’s a new hope remade that’s all it is. Breaks my heart.

I'm just trying to be honest.
I don't know how anyone came out of this movie unsatisfied.
I hated the Finn stuff and the casino planet crap but everything else was so good.
I'm really having a hard time understanding anyone that didn't like this movie outside of that stuff.
The remote viewing that Rey and Kylo were having was so intersting, even more so when you find out it was Snoke orchestrating it and manipulating them.
The island stuff. So great.
So many things that happened and so many characters taken out that turned the story on it''s ear.
I'm just having a hard time understanding people that didn't love this movie absent the inexplicable casino planet stuff and toleration of the PC stuff.
